Here are two important articles and reports from the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. The first, from the NYT, is a discussion about the Brady Bill—an important 10 minute video. It took seven years of battles to get the Brady Bill passed. It takes a long time to make a difference. The second, discusses how the NRA will not allow guns in their meeting with Mike Pence as a speaker. If guns make events/places/families/schools safer, why do they not practice what they preach? Obviously, they know that guns do not make people safe.

While we try not to be partisan, it seems that pushing back against the NRA can be beneficial to candidates in this year's races. This is encouraging especially as gun control groups begin to form and influence elections. There has not been this much activity—especially grass-roots—in years as more citizens demand meaningful changes.
